For UK customers, all of our signs are made in our workshop in Wokingham, Berkshire. Some overseas orders may be fulfilled by one of our partner workshops. 

All of our signs begin with a precision CNC cut backboard, which is then fitted with 12V LEDs by hand. Silicone tubing is added to diffuse the light, creating the smooth, mellow neon glow we all know and love.

Compared to the gas-filled glass tubing used in traditional neon signs, LEDs offer significant advantages in safety and efficiency. They are not liable to shatter, give off very little excess heat, and are generally lower-maintenance and thus less hassle.

By default, your sign will include a power supply and wall fixtures, along with screws and rawl plugs. Other accessories are available, including dimmer remotes, battery packs, and ceiling hanging kits. These can be added before you place an order, or purchased separately at a later date.

Unless otherwise requested, your sign will be supplied with pre-drilled holes and wall fixtures for easy mounting, straight out of the box. Alternatively, you can choose a ceiling hanging kit or, for certain custom designs, an acrylic base for a free-standing sign.

Yes, but we’d highly recommend adding waterproofing, and the power supply will always need to be kept dry. We’d also recommend avoiding leaving it out year-round, as prolonged exposure to extreme temperatures can cause damage over time.

When properly cared for, your sign will last for around 8-15 years. It’s important to maintain your sign to maximise its lifespan, so check out our cleaning and maintenance guide for tips on keeping your sign shining.

When it comes to the design itself, the options are endless. Your business logo, an artwork, a drawing of a pet or favourite character, we can work with just about any design, no matter how complex. We also offer a range of additional options for bespoke signs beyond the design itself, such as bespoke vinyl-printed backing. Got something specific in mind? Until we have your design, we can’t say for sure! Prices for custom signs are highly variable. Generally speaking, larger signs will cost more, but the complexity of a design will also affect its price.

Yes - all quotes and mock-ups are provided for free, with no additional obligations, so you can make sure that you’ll love your sign without spending a penny.

Once you’ve submitted your design, we’ll aim to get back to you within one working day via email, though it may take longer during busier periods. Your preview mock-up may take a little longer, depending on the scale and complexity of your sign. Make sure to check your spam/junk folders if you’re still expecting your quote.

Shipping time will vary depending on the size of your order and our current capacity. Generally, standard production will take between 6-10 days, followed by 1-2 day shipping. Our Express and Priority services will take

Standard shipping for all orders over £150 is free. For orders under £150, we charge £3.99 for delivery. Our Express and Priority shipping services will vary in cost depending on how busy we are; you’ll be able to see the current rate at checkout.

Typically we use ParcelForce and UPS depending on the size of your sign and your location. Individual accessories are usually dispatched via Royal Mail Tracked 24.

Unfortunately not. All of our signs are handmade to order, and thus we cannot accept returns or cancellations if you’ve changed your mind once production has begun.

Most of our signs come with an industry-leading three-year warranty for the cost of repairs and replacement components if you encounter any issues. During the first year, power supplies, accessories, and shipping costs are also covered. 

Please note that signs intended for outdoor use are limited to one-year warranty coverage.

It’s rare for a sign to stop working, but let us know ASAP at support@neondaddy.co.uk if a breakage occurs.

 If your sign stops working during the first year of your warranty, we’ll provide you with a return label and arrange pickup so we can get your sign back up and running, as well as replacing any faulty accessories. 

During the second and third years of your warranty, we’ll cover the cost of repairs and replacement components. 

If your sign breaks out of warranty, we can still get it up and running again, so don’t hesitate to get in touch. 

We would highly recommend that you keep the original packing in case you need to make a return, as we cannot accept responsibility for signs damaged due to improper return packaging.

Although rare, signs can occasionally be damaged during shipping. If your sign doesn’t work on arrival, let us know as soon as possible at support@neondaddy.co.uk.

For minor issues such as LED failure, we’ll provide a label and arrange a pickup for you to return your sign for repair and redelivery. In the case of a major breakage, we’ll get a replacement made and sent out ASAP. 

If we ask you to return your sign, please make sure to use the original packaging. We are unable to accept responsibility for signs damaged due to improper return packaging.
